Download vCardPhilippe de Jong is a specialist in intellectual property law, with a particular focus on patents, plant variety rights, and parallel import issues. He also has extensive experience in EU and Belgian regulatory matters, particularly regarding the agri-food and life sciences sectors. Philippe regularly speaks at industry conferences and academic seminars, and has published numerous articles in leading legal journals on topics within his field of specialisation.
Philippe has served as a consultant to the EU Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) and is an active member of several professional and sector-specific organisations, including the European Patent Lawyers Association (EPLAW), Euroseeds, the Licensing Executives Society (LES), and the International Association of Breeders of Asexually Reproducing Fruit and Ornamental Varieties (CIOPORA).
