Sophie specialises in intellectual property law, with particular expertise in trade mark and patent litigation, anti-counterfeiting and parallel trade matters, as well as trade secrets.

Her practice also covers unfair market practices, advertising law, and the drafting of legal opinions and contracts in IP-related matters.

Sophie is actively involved in several leading IP associations. She currently serves as Co-President of the Belgian Group of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI). She is an Honorary Member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), having previously served as President of its IP/TMT Commission, and is also a member of the French Association des Praticiens du droit des Marques et des Modèles (APRAM) and the Belgian Association Belge pour le droit d’Auteur (ABA).

Sophie is the author and co-author of various publications, and regularly takes part in conferences and seminars as a speaker, moderator, and co-organiser.
