Mathias advises Belgian and international clients on a wide variety of matters. Mathias Morissens practices in the area of (international) arbitration, contract law, procedural law, tort law and insolvency law. 

Prior to joining ALTIUS, Mathias pursued a Master’s degree in Antwerp, Belgium. During his master’s program, Mathias embarked on an Erasmus exchange to Slovenia, expanding his horizons and gaining exposure to diverse legal systems.

After that, he completed a LL.M. in International Business Law at the Panthéon-Assas University in Paris. During his LL.M., Mathias Morissens gained practical experience at leading Parisian law firms. Additionally, Mathias went to Singapore to explore the nuances of international arbitration in the Asian market, further enhancing expertise in cross-border legal matters.
