Lora Arifagic specializes in intellectual property and EU regulatory law, with a particular emphasis on pharmaceuticals, life sciences and cosmetics. Her expertise encompasses life-cycle management, clinical trials, marketing, GLP/GMP, labeling, pricing and reimbursement authorizations, e-health, advertising, and product liability. Lora has experience in both non-contentious and contentious matters, representing clients before the Belgian courts, administrative courts, and the Court of Justice of the EU.

With an academic background in European law and intellectual property law, Lora has completed multiple practical courses on European pharmaceutical law and has published in the European Health & Pharmaceutical Law Review.

While her primary focus is on the pharmaceuticals industry, Lora also has a keen interest in the cosmetics and personal care industry. She is dedicated to ensuring that European consumers have access to safe and sustainable cosmetic products while maximizing the potential for industry growth and innovation.

At ALTIUS, she is a member of the life sciences practice group, a cross-departmental initiative that pools know-how on new developments in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics, and patents.
