Esther specialises in individual and collective employment law as well as social security law.
She advises Belgian and international clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including recruitment and termination, employee well-being, transfer of undertakings, working time regulations, and employee representation.
Esther assists clients with negotiations, drafting company policies, employment contracts, and collective bargaining agreements (CBAs). She has extensive experience conducting due diligence and advising on the labour law aspects in M&A transactions.
Esther represents clients before the Employment Courts and Employment Appeal Courts.
Within ALTIUS’ employment department, Esther is responsible for managing legal know-how, drafting newsletters, organising webinars, and developing tools and websites.
Esther is a frequent speaker at seminars and is an active member of the ‘Vereniging Sociaal Recht’.
