Peter Blomme specialises in intellectual property rights such as trademarks, copyrights, including the taxation of income out of copyrights, and software protection. He has obtained extensive experience litigating for clients covering many sectors.

Peter obtained a Master in Law degree at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2012, and completed an LL.M. at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences in 2013, specialising in Intellectual Property Law,.

Peter has been nominated as a Rising Star 2019 by ipstars.com, and is a member of the Belgian Copyright Law Association (BVA) and the Benelux Trade Mark and Design Association (BMM).

Peter is the author of the book Stakingsvordering zoals in kort geding inzake intellectuele eigendom – Een stand van zaken (Larcier, 2019), co-author of the book Softwarebescherming onder het auteursrecht – 25 jaar Europese Richtlijn (Larcier, 216), and co-author of the book Auteursrecht – Capita Selecta (Larcier, 2015).
