Pierre specialises in banking and finance law and also covers related corporate law matters. He deals with a variety of financing transactions, such as: acquisition finance, export finance, project finance and asset-based lending. He is also knowledgeable about investment funds.
Pierre handles commercial contracts concerning the development and financing of infrastructure projects. Some of these projects are situated in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Pierre is involved in leveraged finance transactions and corporate lending across a wide range of sectors. He is familiar with LMA based finance documentation and drafts Belgian security documentation. Pierre works on a daily basis with colleagues in various locations on cross border deals and masters very quickly the dynamics of a complex financing transaction.
Pierre is equally familiar with financial regulatory issues that range from general banking rules to Fintech matters. He follows very closely the changing landscape in the financial markets and its impact on the day-to-day operations of financial services providers.
Pierre has a Bachelor of Laws from the Université Saint-Louis (Brussels). After spending his first year of his Master’s degree at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, he obtained his Master’s degree from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Pierre is currently completing a Management Degree from ICHEC – Brussels Management School.
