Senior Associate ICT Law (fluent in Dutch)

The ICT Team

Doing business digitally has changed the way we work and live. Now that digitalisation continues to drive global markets, this brings many new questions. The ALTIUS ICT team is continuously one step ahead when it comes to the ever-changing rules of the internet, the digital world and e-business. Thanks to our legal, operational and regulatory knowledge, our client list is long. Hardware manufacturers, software and app developers, system integrators, e-commerce players, telecommunications operators and other ICT-related service providers all rely on our dedicated team.

Key requirements

• You are a lawyer admitted to the Belgian Bar and have approximately 4 years of experience in ICT Law, ideally in a comparable practice.
• You have particular experience or interest in data protection (GDPR) and have a practical knowledge of the most recent developments in this field.
• You combine your profound interest in ICT Law with strong commercial awareness.
• You are not afraid to voice your opinion, have demonstrated your entrepreneurial spirit in the past (e.g. involvement in a student club, sports club, etc.) and do not always choose the most conventional path.
• If you have worked or studied abroad, we consider this an asset.
• You are fluent in Dutch. Your level of English and French is suitable for daily use in a business environment. Knowledge of another language is a plus.
• You have excellent writing skills and have a preference for a pragmatic and hands-on approach.
• You are an open and enthusiastic team player, highly motivated and internationally oriented.
