Lieven is een gerenommeerd expert inzake vastgoed en constructie. Hij heeft een uitgebreide kennis over contractenrecht en algemeen handelsrecht.

Lieven adviseert zijn cliënten over alle aspecten van complexe vastgoedtransacties, met inbegrip van het structureren van vastgoedprojecten; vastgoedfusies en -overnames; sale-and-leaseback transacties; joint ventures; leasing en split structures. Lieven heeft geadviseerd over verschillende grote transacties in de Belgische markt waaronder grote shopping centra en meerdere logistieke centra; kantoorgebouwen; handelseigendommen; grote binnenstedelijke (her)ontwikkelingen en andere vastgoednicheproducten (inclusief rusthuizen en projecten voor gemengd gebruik).

Peeters is lid en Assessor van de Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), ‘s werelds toonaangevende instantie voor kwalificaties en normen in het domein van grond, onroerend goed, infrastructuur en bouw. Lieven is lid van het Legal Committee van de Belgisch Luxemburgse Raad voor Retail en Winkelcentra (BLSC). Hij is ook lid van de Beroepsvereniging van de vastgoedsector (BVS – UPSI); de Urban Land Institute (ULI); de Belgische Vereniging voor Bouwrecht (BVBR) en de International Bar Association. Hij is een regelmatige spreker op verschillende seminaries en conferenties.

Lieven is winnaar van de ILO Client Choice Award – Leisure Belgium in 2020 en van de ILO Client Choice Award – Real Estate Belgium in 2015, 2012 en 2011. Zijn vastgoedexpertise wordt erkend in diverse nationale en internationale ranglijsten (Chambers Europe, Legal 500, Word Leading Experts in Real Estate, PLC Which Lawyer, Who’s Who Legal, Best Lawyers).
