Download vCardKirian is gespecialiseerd in Intellectuele Eigendom (IE) en regelgevingszaken, met een bijzondere focus op voeding, farma en life sciences.
Zijn IE-werkzaamheden omvatten complexe octrooiprocessen, vaak met betrekking tot grensoverschrijdende kwesties, en ondersteuning en advies met betrekking tot IE-portefeuillebeheer.
Zijn regelgevende zaken gaan van procedures in het domein van klinische testen, lancerings– en marketingstrategieën tot tarifering en terugbetaling, aanbestedingen en lifecycle management.
Kirian behaalde zijn masterdiploma in de rechten aan de Universiteit Gent (magna cum laude).
Na drie jaar werken in de IE-sector deed Kirian nog extra internationale ervaring op door een postgraduaat te volgen aan de Berkeley School of Law (Universiteit van Californië), waar hij ook het Law and Technology Certificate heeft behaald.
Kirian is ook lid van Boalt Hall Alumni Association, de Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Law en International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property.
Bovendien spreekt hij regelmatig op conferenties en seminaries.
