Bregt Raus is gespecialiseerd in intellectueel eigendom en EU-regelgeving, met een focus op octrooien, kwekersrechten en aangelegenheden die verband houden met de agrovoedings- en life sciences-sector. Zijn praktijk omvat zowel advieswerk als procesvoering, waaronder rechtszaken voor de Belgische rechtbanken, het Gemeenschappelijk Octrooigerecht en het Hof van Justitie van de Europese Unie.

Bregt is lid van het bestuur van de European Food Law Association (EFLA). Daarnaast is hij actief in de alumniverenigingen van de Universiteit van Chicago, BAEF en Fulbright. Bij ALTIUS geeft hij leiding aan de ‘life sciences matrix’, een afdelingsoverschrijdend initiatief dat kennis bundelt en de periodieke Life Sciences Sessions organiseert.
