Bart heeft uitgebreide ervaring in het brede spectrum van faillisement- en herstructureringsprocedures. Hij staat regelmatig schuldeisers bij in het beschermen van hun positie en het afdwingen van hun vorderingen. Bart is actief aan beide zijden en heeft verschillende bedrijven in financiële moeilijkheden geholpen hun activiteiten te herstructureren en insolventiescenario’s te vermijden. Tot slot adviseert hij derden die de activa en het personeel van bedrijven in moeilijkheden willen overnemen.

Bart’s praktijk omvat ook commerciële procesvoering, zowel contractueel als uit onrechtmatige daad, met een bijzondere focus op bestuurdersaansprakelijkheid in insolventiescenario’s.

Bart spreekt regelmatig op verschillende conferenties en seminars over insolventie en herstructurering.

Hij is ook lid van AIJA, Etion, INSOL Europe en co-voorzitter van INSOL Europe’s anti-fraude forum.
