Alexander specialiseert zich in nationale en internationale geschillenbeslechting. Hij heeft een uitgebreide ervaring in complexe procedures in verschillende materies zoals handelsrecht en contractuele geschillen, aansprakelijkheid en verzekeringen, insolventie-gerelateerde zaken en de tenuitvoerlegging van buitenlandse vonnissen en arbitrale beslissingen. Hij heeft ook een grondige kennis van distributie, agentuur, franchising en makelaarsovereenkomsten in de internationale context.

Alexander verstrekt advies in de pre-contentieuze fase en voert onderhandelingen, bemiddeling en procedures voor de nationale rechtbanken en het Europees Hof van Justitie. Hij is regelmatig betrokken bij arbitrageprocedures (ICC, CEPANI, NAI, SCC, WIPO en ad hoc), waarin hij optreedt als raadsman voor een partij of als arbiter.

Alexander publiceert en geeft regelmatig lezingen over zijn vakgebied.

Alexander is lid van de International Bar Association; CEPANI en de Belgische afdeling van de Club Español del Arbitraje. Hij is ook sterk betrokken bij de Belgische Franchise Federatie en is sinds 2019 lid van de Raad van de Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten bij de Balie te Brussel.
