Diederik specialises in intellectual property, ICT and technology related matters, with a particular focus on software, patents and design rights. Diederik represents and advises clients in several technology-driven industries including software, electronics, biotech, food, automotive and transportation. His expertise includes both transactional work, such as the negotiation and drafting of contracts and licensing agreements, as well as complex cross-border litigation and the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

Diederik studied at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and has a Master of Laws. He acquired a magna cum laude LL.M. degree in Intellectual Property and ICT in 2015.

He is the author of several publications regarding the enforcement of intellectual property rights and regularly speaks at conferences and seminars.
