Nicolas Dupont specialises in banking and finance law. He deals with a variety of financing transactions, such as: acquisition finance, export finance, project finance, real estate finance and asset-based lending.
He is very familiar with taking security in Belgium and the related legal issues. He advises on specific questions regarding bank regulatory matters and particular types of financial instruments and tools.
Nicolas also handles commercial contracts concerning the development and financing of infrastructure projects. Some of these projects are situated in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Nicolas has a Master of Laws from the Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve and an LL.M. in IP and ICT law from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. He also studied at the Trinity College of Dublin.
He recently obtained a special degree in OHADA law from Université Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas and Université Paris 13.
