Associate Real Estate

ALTIUS is an independent Belgian law firm based in Brussels (Tour & Taxis). ALTIUS currently has 70 lawyers and 25 staff members. To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for an associate with 2 to 6 years of experience to join our Real Estate & Regulatory Law Team.

The Real Estate & Regulatory Team

The Real estate team supports their clients with transactions, setting up the right legal structure for their real estate needs and covers big and small real estate issues from day-to-day urbanization issues and disputes to developments and new real estate. We support our clients as they work through the real estate lifecycle from demolition, construction and renovation to leasing and new project development.  The team also advises on soil clean-up issues, waste disposal and nuisance issues where the legislation can vary between the three Belgian regions.

Key requirements

• You are a Belgian qualified lawyer and you have 2 to 6 years of experience in real estate law, ideally in a similar practice.
• If you have worked or studied abroad we consider this to be an asset.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English. Your level of French is suitable for daily use in a business environment. Knowledge of German is a plus.
• You possess excellent writing skills and you prefer a pragmatic and hands-on approach.
• You are an open and enthusiastic team player, highly motivated and internationally oriented.
