In its real estate practice, headed by Lieven Peeters, ALTIUS advises clients on all matters of real estate in both public law (zoning, permit situation, environmental issues, etc.) and private law (transactions, real estate M&A, property issues, rights in rem, etc.).
We assist our clients in complex real estate transactions, such as divestitures, sale and lease back transactions and development contracts.
From stand-alone office buildings, shopping centers and logistics parks to niche products such as senior housing, hotels and leisure centers are dealt with.
In its regulatory practice, headed by William Timmermans, ALTIUS advises and assists on a broad range of regulatory matters and administrative law, including zoning, energy and environmental law. The team focuses on public procurement cases, providing advice in tender proceedings and assisting clients in litigation before the ordinary courts, the Constitutional Court and the Council of State. The team is involved in several major PPP projects.
