• 24/06/2010

On 24 June 2010, Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) named ALTIUS ‘Contentious IP team of the Year’ for Belgium at its 5th Global Awards ceremony in London. Other firms nominated in this category were Allen & Overy, Bird & Bird, Howrey and NautaDutilh.

At this annual event, awards are presented to the firms behind the most innovative and challenging IP work of the past year. MIP Global Awards recognize the leading firms from the major jurisdictions around the world and highlights those firms, individuals and companies driving the IP market at an international level.

The awards follow the publication of the magazine’s well-established IP survey of leading patent, trade mark and copyright firms from around the world, where ALTIUS comes highly recommended. The award winners are chosen by Managing IP’s research team and are based on extensive research and interviews with peers and clients.

Paul Maeyaert, heading ALTIUS’ IP team, commented: “We are delighted with this recognition. It demonstrates our hands-on approach and commitment to provide clear and workable advice in a timely and cost-efficient manner is appreciated. With one of the largest teams on the Belgian market and niche-expertise in a wide variety of IPR fields, ALTIUS is able to offer the highest quality of services to its clients.”
