ALTIUS reinforces Real Estate & Regulatory team with new Partner

ALTIUS is proud to announce that Lieven Peeters joined the firm as a Partner on 15 February 2010. Lieven joins ALTIUS from Linklaters where he started his career 13 years ago. He will considerably strengthen ALTIUS’ Real Estate & Regulatory department and the firm’s overall position on the Belgian market.

Lieven Peeters is an expert in real estate & construction law with a solid knowledge of contracts and commercial law. He is recognised as such by leading legal directories such as Chambers Europe and World Leading Experts. His real estate practice includes the structuring of real estate projects, real estate M&A, sale-and-leaseback transactions, divestments, joint ventures, leasing, PPP and split structures.

He has advised on various major transactions in Belgium involving large shopping centres, office buildings, logistics centres, large inner-city developments and other niche products such as senior housing, health & sports centres and mixed-use projects.
